Mourning Journey is a grief support group sponsored by our parish which will begin the spring session on Thursday, March 1st, in the Spiritual Center at 7:00 PM. This group will meet for 10-12 weeks on consecutive Thursday evenings. A book, written by Alan D. Wolfelt, Ph.D., a world-renowned expert in the field of grief is used and will be distributed at the first meeting. Participants will have a better understanding of their grief as each week we will cover one of the ten touch-stones for finding hope and healing of the heart. This will be the 8th session of “Mourning Journey” and those who have participated in the program in the past have indicated that it was extremely helpful to them. There will be no cost to the participants. This support group is open to any adult who is struggling with the loss of a loved one, whether it is recent or not. You do not need to be Catholic to join. We are limiting the group to 10 people. This group is held twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. To register, or for more information call Ellen Van Hook at 856-825-8195.
